NHS waiting lists have fallen to their lowest level in 3.5 years

Extremely pleased to see that NHS waiting lists have fallen to their lowest level in 3.5 years, with over 312,000 fewer people waiting for treatment compared to last year. This is the largest year-on-year reduction in 16 years, with the number of people waiting more than a year dropping by almost half. After years of record waiting lists under the Tories, this is great progress and a testament to the hard work of NHS staff across the country.

Alongside this, ambulance response times for strokes and heart attacks are the fastest in five years, 2,000 more GPs have been recruited and patient satisfaction is up significantly.
