Yesterday, I was invited to Buckingham Palace alongside other newly elected Members of Parliament. It was an honour to meet and speak to His Majesty the King about the how the first six months since being elected have gone.

Yesterday, I attended the reception hosted by the High Commissioner of India to mark the 76th Republic Day of India. It was an honour to be invited and celebrate the wonderful contribution the Indian community has made to Hillingdon, Britain and across the world

Last week, UK Parliament ran the Teacher Ambassador Programme. It was great to welcome Shanara, a teacher at my old school - Deanesfield Primary! Really brilliant to see a local teacher taking part in this opportunity to help improve young people's engagement with democracy.

Great to sit down with Karin Smyth MP, the Secretary of State for Secondary Care,  and discuss further details for the new Hillingdon Hospital! I'll be in constant communication with the Department, Ministers and the Secretary of State to ensure the smooth delivery of this project at every step of the way.

On this Holocaust Memorial Day we honour those murdered during the Holocaust and pay tribute to the extraordinary Holocaust survivors who continue to educate young people today. Thank you to Holocaust Educational Trust (UK)  for offering an opportunity to show our sincerest respects.
