Protect our green spaces

We need action to protect our green spaces and deliver homes we need on brownfield sites. The local council has failed to do this.

Instead in recent weeks, Conservatives in Hillingdon have been claiming our green spaces- even our parks and playgrounds are under threat. Whilst there are no proposals to build on these sites.

We need the Council to focus on using the powers it does have and if failing to act on by:

- getting a Local Plan in place, so development happens in the right places (ours finishes in 2026)

- completing its review of the Green Belt and protecting important green spaces

- supporting organisations such as the Colne Valley Regional Park

Instead of scare stories, we need action to protect our green spaces and deliver the homes we need on brownfield sites.
