A huge win for leaseholders 🏠

For more than a year, I’ve been campaigning for the regulation of managing agents after hearing what leaseholders across Uxbridge and South Ruislip were facing. In July 2025, I introduced my Managing Agents (Regulation) Bill, calling for an independent regulator and licensing for managing agents.

Now, the Government has committed to introducing independent regulation and mandatory licensing for property agents. Agents who fail to meet the required standards could lose their licence.

This is a huge step forward for leaseholders locally and proof that persistent campaigning can deliver change!
