Uxbridge town centre report

Since being elected in July 2024, my team and I have been taking a range of actions to tackle town-centre issue, from pressing for increased

police resources and tougher national rules on shoplifting and mobile phone theft, to working with TfL on fare evasion and transport

improvements.


I recognise that there is still much to be done to make our town centre the best it can be. It is important for me to continue listening to residents. As a result of this, I arranged a drop-in event to delve into the issue.


The drop‑in session provided an open and informal forum for residents to speak directly with me and representatives from organisations such as the Uxbridge policing team, Neighbourhood Watch and the Business Improvement District.
